Broussard's courtyard, nestled among former stables and slaves quarters, was once the carriageway for the Historic Hermann-Grima House. With its original 1800's cobblestones, you are at once captivated by its rustic ambience and its elegant atmosphere. The grounds and gardens are carefully maintained to showcase the splendid flora, adding to the beauty of your wedding. Following the ceremony, your guests can join in a champagne toast to the bride and groom, and then spend the evening feasting and dancing in celebration. The courtyard can accommodate up to 200 guests for a reception and 150 guests for a seated dinner.

Or you may choose to have your wedding in the Historic Hermann-Grima House courtyard, amidst a luxuriously restored mansion which highlights the lifestyle of an affluent Creole family

in the 1830's. Built in 1831, this Federal mansion boasts the only stable and functional outdoor kitchen in the French Quarter, and is thought to be the finest example of American architecture in the area. This courtyard can accommodate several hundred guests for a reception. Either way, it's a one of a kind New Orleans experience!

In the midst of this fabulous location, you are also assured amazing French Creole cuisine from a world class chef, and quality service from a family who has over 50 years experience in the restaurant and hotel business. We will make your event a memorable occasion.

Let us handle all of the details. We can arrange for your cake, flowers, and musicians, as well as limousines and carriage rides. We also have recommendations for Officiates, Photographers and Videographers. Printed menus and place cards are available- we can even provide you with a floor plan in advance for your seating arrangements.

We offer a variety of wedding packages including reception and private use of our courtyard for your wedding ceremony or rehearsal dinner. Pricing and availability varies based on date, time, and size of party.

Please note the following regarding pricing:

Broussard's Courtyard Ceremony Fee (minimum*): $750.00 (includes: set-up, clean up, up to 60 chairs and use of space)

Hermann Grima Courtyard Fee: $2500.00 (includes: tour of home with docents, 1800s Cooking Demo (Not offered during the months of May through October), Police Detail, 15-30" Round Cabaret Tables * available for buffet functions only, 40-White Wooded Padded Chairs *available for buffet functions only). This fee includes use of the location for three hours. Each additional hour is $500.

Hermann Grima Courtyard Fee: $1500.00 (includes courtyard use only- i.e. – no tour, cooking demo, security, or furniture).

Price of Food and Beverage varies based on the menu that you choose. Please note an average minimum per person price is $75.00++.

There may be food and beverage minimums required to secure spaces private for smaller groups. This is subject to date, time, and availability.

(Tents are available at an additional charge in case of inclement weather.)
